About the opportunityThis is a permanent part-time opportunity working 3 days (21 hours) per week, based at Uniting Counselling and Mediation in Wollongong.Must be available to work: Wednesdays 11am – 7pm fortnightly.As a Child and Family Counsellor, you will provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group-based support to children and young people. You will also engage with parents to help strengthen the parent-child relationship and reduce the chronic stress and trauma symptoms children experience post-separation.Uniting Counselling and Mediation has a long history of high-quality service delivery and is well regarded and connected with Family Law stakeholders. As an Anchor Counsellor, you will provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group-based support to children, young people, and their families.
