Who we're looking for:
* Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role requires experience in one or more cloud platforms or technologies such as Azure, AWS, SaaS, PaaS, or VMware. The successful candidate will contribute to building scalable, secure, and resilient systems while supporting automation, performance tuning, and ongoing cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, VMware, or relevant cloud platforms.
* Support the integration and management of SaaS and PaaS solutions.
* Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance.
* Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams on cloud solutions and governance.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience with at least one of the following: Azure, AWS, VMware, SaaS, or PaaS technologies.
* Understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, networking, and security principles.
* Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell).
Database - SQL Database Administrator Role
Role: Database-SQL
Responsibilities: As an MS SQL Database Administrator, you will support the establishment and ongoing management of infrastructure managed services for the client. Your responsibilities will include:
* Service Establishment & Transition: Assist in gathering and reviewing information related to the implementation and operation of the client's existing MS SQL database environments.
* Participate in workshops to understand existing MS SQL platforms and prepare for database operations transition.
* Contribute to the creation of key database operations documentation (e.g., System Understanding Documents, Standard Operating Procedures).
* Support the team in ensuring readiness for database operations go-live in line with the service establishment plan and schedule.
* Ongoing Database Administration & Operations: Perform routine MS SQL DBA tasks, including health checks, backups, performance tuning and management, availability and capacity management, installation, configuration, patching, routine administration and maintenance.
* Resolve production and non-production incidents with minimal downtime or performance impact.
* Manage backlog of database-related tickets and service requests.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for database platforms, processes, and procedures.
* Support efforts to align database operations with DevOps and Agile principles.
* Assist in automating database management and operational tasks.
* Collaborate with other DBAs and infrastructure teams (compute, storage, network, datacentre, and public cloud).
* Provide input on current database platforms for public cloud migration projects.
* Knowledge of Oracle database administration desirable, but not a requirement.
* Additional Requirements: Security Clearance Requirement: Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or eligible for obtaining security clearance.
* On-call and Shift Expectations: Flexibility to work in shifts and on-call to provide continuous support and after-hours deployment activities as needed.
