We're partnering with a highly respected mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with a strong national reputation. As they continue expanding their Cairns practice, they're seeking a skilled Senior Auditor who brings technical strength, local experience, and a collaborative mindset.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and deliver external audits across a diverse range of industries – SMEs, large private groups, not‑for‑profits, and more.
* Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements end‑to‑end, reporting directly to experienced Partners.
* Build strong, long‑lasting client relationships through hands‑on service and practical insight.
* Mentor and guide junior auditors – be a role model for high technical standards.
* Identify process improvements and add real value beyond standard compliance.
* Gain top‑tier mentoring for areas you want to develop further.
What We're Looking For
* CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion).
* 2–5+ years Australian external audit experience in a professional services firm (mid‑tier or Big 4 preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Auditing Standards (ASA).
* A proactive team player who communicates well and takes ownership of their work.
* Someone who enjoys client interaction and building trust through quality delivery.
