In your new role as Systems & Process Engineer, you will analyse, recommend and implement new or enhanced engineering related systems, policies and processes.
Key accountabilities include, but not limited to:
* Develop, implement, and maintain engineering systems, policies, and processes, including new product development, product introduction, configuration control, resource planning, and engineering change management
* Represent Engineering in team and cross-functional meetings to ensure processes and systems align with current and future business needs
* Develop and maintain risk and safety management processes in line with relevant legislation and standards
* Support and promote a strong culture of risk management, safety, and systems engineering
* Assist in developing and implementing an engineering lifecycle management system
* Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports to support engineering activities and initiatives
* Coach and mentor team members on engineering technical, systems, and process matters, and support engineering work related to Agricultural, Construction Equipment, and OEM products
* Perform other duties within skills and experience as required
* Take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of self, team and others in the workplace, including consumers of work outputs. Follow all OHS policies and procedures for Engineering type work and in employment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, your resume would include:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics)
* Valid Driver's License
* Valid passport and ability to travel interstate and internationally (as required)
* Significant experience implementing quality management systems, systems and process improvement in an engineering context. Experience ideally gained in agricultural/construction/similar equipment organisation
* Broad experience with, and applied knowledge and understanding of, Risk and Systems Safety Management
* Demonstrated experience managing systems engineering and full life cycle engineering product management
* Demonstrated experience managing approaches to markets for the delivery of technical products and services
* Track record of delivery in project/interdisciplinary business units to achieve engineering objectives and business outcomes
* Exposure to managing function/s of engineering and workshop facilities
* Knowledge and application of relevant legislation and Standard to the breadth of engineering activity, systems and processes
* Highly developed conceptual, analytical and numerical skill
* Well-developed relationship management and interpersonal skills
* Highly developed communication skills, including report writing
* Demonstrated proficiency across a range of applications, including Microsoft Suite, with a strong capability in Microsoft SharePoint (highly desirable), as well as Google Suite
