Eligibility & Key Skills
Citizenship / Visa: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a full work rights visa.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) from a recognised institution. Preference for master’s in commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of business/service experience, preferably within a bank or financial institution.
Skills:
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and general IT applications
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Basic marketing and investment understanding
- Knowledge of tax‑related returns preparation will be an advantage
Period of Appointment
Appointment of operation assistant will be on a fixed term contract for a period of one year initially and is renewable as per the performance, subject to discretion of Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage liquidity and investment transactions and liaise with clients, advisers, custodians, brokers and fund managers, fostering positive relationships and facilitating seamless communication.
- Handle remittance transactions processing efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Assisting the credit head for processing of credit proposals as per Bank’s Regulatory guidelines of both host and home country and support in routine operations and other work.
- Preparation of routine reports/ statements related to general operations and tax related work.
- Preparation and submitting Austrac reports after vetting by Line Manager.
- Updating & filling of KYC documents (pertaining to Deposit customers & others).
- Preparation of salaries and assist payment process, payment of superannuation.
- Candidate may be assigned other officiating work also other than credit as per requirement of the Business of the Branch.
- To execute any other work assigned by the management from time to time.
Remuneration
Between AU$45,000 to AU$55,000 per annum plus superannuation contribution as per prevalent law.
