About the Role
As the Administrative Officer you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school by providing high‑quality administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing reception duties, including handling phone and counter enquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining student records.
- Providing administrative support to school staff, such as processing timesheets, leave applications, and arranging relief staff as required.
- Handling financial administration, including processing payments, invoices, and orders, as well as managing data in OneSchool.
- Coordinating school maintenance, safety inspections, and community use of school facilities and conducting stock‑takes of school equipment.
- Preparing documents such as reports, newsletters, meeting minutes, and policy documents, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Proficiency in financial processes, including invoicing, receipting, and reconciliation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
