The Role As an Education Assistant – Special Needs you will assist the teacher in delivering planned education programs and encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This includes the operation of computers and digital technologies, and implementation of individual student or small group programs or demonstrations. In addition, you will also ideally assist in the application of specialised education programs such as occupational therapy, obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
