**WHS Consultant**
**What can you expect?**
We are seeking a WHS Consultant, for a fantastic opportunity.
Broome one week, Esperance the next, working with LGIS, you will work as part of an existing team delivering a suite of services to our client base. These services may include education and awareness on WHS topics, conducting safety assessments and providing consultancy and advice on specific issues.

**We will count on you to**:
- Work collaboratively with the existing team, to deliver on agreed services, to all local governments in WA
- Undertake on site assessments and prepare reports
- Work with LGIS members to Identify key risk areas and assist in the development of tailored solutions.
- Engage and work with internal stakeholders to align our risk mitigation with indemnity protection
- Manage your own workload including travel
- Work autonomously, all the while contributing to both a local and national team of risk specialists who share ideas and learn from each other
**What you need to have**:
- Qualifications in Workplace Safety - Cert IV or above
- Ideally a minimum of 4 years' experience within WHS
- Experience document writing
- An ability and eagerness to work autonomously and manage projects
- A positive work attitude that fosters effective internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- A current driving license travel within WA is an essential part of this role
