Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine in a fast-paced environment that values precision, creativity, and safety.
About the Role
* Support or lead assigned sections as directed by the Chef De Cuisine.
* Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
* Complete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements.
Requirements
* Culinary school graduate with received apprenticeship training in commercial cookery.
* Experience with Asian cuisine and Wok skills is desirable.
* Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including overnight shifts.
