Lead Pega Developer
* 12 months contract with 2x12 months extension option

* Australian Citizens with Baseline Clearance
Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Pega Developer for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a July start for an initial 12 months contract, with potential for further extensions
About the Role:
In this role, You will lead the technical capability of internally-facing systems built on the Pega Cloud platform and work closely with BAU and project teams as they evolve the existing product. You will have a deep understanding of the Pega platform and have the ability to provide technical leadership, strategic guidance and expert technical recommendations.
Main responsibilities include:
* Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the Pega platform.
* Develop and enhance Pega applications to improve quality, reliability, and performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Provide expert-level support for Pega applications, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of issues.
* Integrate Pega software with modern web applications, web services and databases (such as, MuleSoft and Oracle/Postgres databases on AWS infrastructure).
* Plan and execute platform upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Evaluate and implement new features and functionalities of Pega to keep the platform current and competitive.
* Conduct thorough testing and validation of upgrades to ensure system integrity and performance.
Essential criteria:
* Demonstrated experience developing in Pega, using agile delivery methodology.
* Demonstrated experience managing the Pega platform, with particular focus on system optimization, upgrades, and establishing new integration paths/patterns with external systems.
* Demonstrated experience in Pega Infinity '24, including Constellation.
* Demonstrated experience integrating Pega with AWS.
* Pega Certifications or other qualifications of relevance to the role – Desirable.
