The Role
The Statewide Manager - Medical Equipment is a senior management role responsible for providing effective leadership and management to achieve the objectives of the Medical Equipment Management Framework.
You will need
High-level knowledge and experience in strategic asset lifecycle management together with broad knowledge and understanding of requirements relevant to Australian Standards, codes, and guidelines.
Relevant experience within an acute health service environment will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated high-level strategic planning skills, conceptual, analytical, and creative skills, including the demonstrated ability to understand the political, social and organisational environment, to identify relevant issues and to make sound judgments about strategies, directions and priorities.
High-level ability to manage human, physical and financial resources with management skills and experience in budget development and management, development and implementation of programs, protocols and systems to support key department objectives.

Details of appointment
Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
General Stream, Band 8
$139,470 to $148,863 per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement ****.
