National Technical Training Director, Tax
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage the creation, delivery, and continuous optimisation of technical training for our Tax team nationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with senior leaders across tax service lines, learning and development, and subject matter experts to coordinate timely and relevant training programs addressing Tax technical training needs by level and market.
* Manage national technical training schedule and budget ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by relevant stakeholders and providing regular updates on expense tracking.
* Curate and manage a knowledge library to ensure easy access to contemporary training tools by Tax team members.
* Lead national training projects as required preparing ad hoc project/business initiative reports and status updates.
This role involves some interstate travel and can be based from one of our offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
Requirements
* A qualified chartered accountant with significant client-facing tax experience including working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime.
* Experience or demonstrated interest in managing a holistic technical development program.
* Ability to critically analyse technical materials and programs and conduct gap analyses to align with technical competencies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with key stakeholders on training needs.
