About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Labourer to join our Roads and Drains team. As a Labourer, you will be at the forefront of operational maintenance of Council's valuable assets, ensuring your designated area remains safe, tidy and defect-free.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Installing and replacing road signs
* Pathways, kerb and channel repairs
* Replacing manholes
* Conducting fence repairs
* Replacing lintels and grates
* Repairing headwalls
* Fixing traffic island defects
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge and physical capability: To perform manual tasks safely
* Recent experience: In a manual position with skills and experience similar to those listed above
* Current qualifications: Truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid) and Construction Induction Card
