About the role
We are seeking a data engineer to join our data team and work with consultancy (client-facing) and internal projects.
Key responsibilities:
• Working directly with external clients to deliver outcomes within the advisory and consultancy projects
• Working with the internal business and technical teams to interpret data and resolve data issues
• Implementing and supporting data workloads (ETL/ELT) using modern technologies such as Snowflake, Azure (Data Factory, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, etc.), Databricks, and dbt.
• Supporting our internal software developers, data analysts and data scientists on different data products and initiatives
• Creating internal solutions and frameworks to automate processes and implement best practices, standards, and patterns
• Implement dashboards and reports
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need a desire and passion to work with the data!
You’ll have:
• Understanding of data warehouse and data lake concepts
• Experience working with some of our tech stack (Microsoft Azure Data, Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt)
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Python knowledge is desirable
• Experience implementing and supporting ETL / ELT
• Experience in data profiling, data analysis and data modelling
• Data visualisation/analysis using Power BI is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform) is a plus
• Problem-solving and self-learning skills
• Self-motivated, capable of taking the initiative and contributing to the team

Hybrid work (3 days in the office) based in The Rocks, Sydney, NSW.
