We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Educator Grade 2 to lead, design, and deliver high quality education across our facility.
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert clinical education, support workforce development initiatives, and drive best practice standards that enhance patient outcomes. Working collaboratively with nursing teams, leaders, and multidisciplinary partners, you will contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.

Essential Criteria:
· Qualifications: As per the Public Health Systems Nurses’ and Midwives (State) Award a Nurse Educator Grade 2 is a Registered Nurse/Midwife appointed to a position classified as such and who holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
· Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated effective and advanced communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture.
3. Demonstrates an understanding of adult learning principles and learning and assessment principles.
4. Demonstrated competency in education delivery and facilitation using a range of tools and technologies.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to develop, deliver and evaluate education programs consistent with the needs of learners with proven ability to achieve outcomes.
6. Demonstrated an awareness of contemporary issues in nursing clinical practice and staff education development.
7. At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent in Education. Holding or working towards relevant post graduate tertiary qualifications.
