In this role, you will oversee and manage risks related to the Group's third-party suppliers, including conducting supplier risk assessments, reporting to Divisional Risk Committees, and ensuring regulatory compliance.You will collaborate closely with Line 1 Risk Advisory teams and Service Provider Governance to effectively manage supplier risk. The role involves integrating risk management frameworks into business operations, strengthening controls, and promoting innovative risk solutions. You will also align risk practices with BOQ Group's strategic goals, ensuring continuous risk management improvements.Your responsibilities include working with Service Provider Governance, Legal, and other departments to manage supplier relationships and risks, conducting training sessions on supplier risk management, and delivering risk assessments for new or changed third-party providers. Providing pragmatic risk advice, identifying control gaps, and supporting risk reduction initiatives are key aspects of your role.About youWe seek a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in risk and third-party supplier management, preferably within banking or financial services. Expertise in CPS230 and supplier management risk is essential, along with proven experience in developing risk processes and assessments.
