Occupational Therapist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Longreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic, client-focused care to individuals with varying levels of need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enable clients to participate fully in daily life and community activities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
* Implement environmental modifications and assistive technology to promote independence
* Provide education and guidance to families, carers, teachers, and employers
* Deliver early childhood supports and promote healthy living initiatives
* Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
