Wood is recruiting for a Site Delivery Lead to join our team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane. Be a vital part of a high performing team delivering maintenance services that produces and distributes refined oil in the energy sector across the region.

The role
The successful candidate will lead and manage operations on Wood and Client operated assets.
You will provide people management and development, developing, implementing and executing business objectives focusing on continuous improvement while delivering contract KPI's and business objectives.

Responsibilities
* Lead consistently against Wood's Safety Procedures and Code of Conduct, in conjunction with client Site Safety Procedures and requirements
* Promote positive changes in organisational culture across the site
* Accountable for the recruitment of resources for maintenance and project activities
* Actively participate in the development and update of site based operating plans and processes
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness
* Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports/respective team in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
* Providing service delivery support to the business
* Lead Safety meetings and team briefings
* Deputising for Contract Manager as required
* Dealing with various HR/IR related people issues to ensure effective individual and team performance and overall successful contract delivery to the client.
Qualifications
* Mechanical or Electrical trade background
* Recognised and accredited management qualification
* Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context
* Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people at all levels of the organisation
* Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn with a can-do attitude
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation.
* Experience in both Client and other 3rd party environments; able to build exemplary working relationship with Client and other Stakeholders
* Commitment to HSE and safety and assurance and the need to drive down incidents and accidents.
Highly desirable
