This role will be critical in supporting our financial operations and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. This individual is eager to develop and advance within the company, eventually stepping into a CFO position.
The key responsibilities include preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, developing and maintaining financial models, collaborating with senior management to provide financial insights, and monitoring and reporting on financial performance.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, managing cash flow, and maintaining strict reporting obligations.
In time, this role will also involve managing an accounts department to assist in performing duties and transitioning bi-weekly payroll processing to a supervisory capacity only.
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with PowerBI and SQL data.
