- **Band 5 (Library Branch) salary from $74,854.00 - $86,164.52 per annum plus super**
Ballarat Libraries is seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our team in delivering high-quality, friendly, and efficient library services that meet the diverse needs of our community. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting patrons with library resources, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch. You'll also help deliver learning programs for all age groups and contribute to the development and promotion of our collections.
In addition to customer service and program delivery, you'll play a key role in promoting the library through the creation of print and digital materials, coordinating campaigns, and maintaining consistent branding and messaging. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with community groups, and stakeholders. **Qualifications and Experience**:
- Completion of a degree course or through lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills and eligibility for professional membership to ALIA. 
- Demonstrated skills and aptitude developed in a customer service environment. 
- Experience in the provision of information services including online resources. 
- Knowledge and/or experience in writing, proofreading and editing content for a variety of audiences and formats with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
- Working with Children check.
