Key Roles and Responsibilities
As a Banking and Collections Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations for our organization.
Primary Duties:
* Process and allocate payments across multiple platforms including credit card, EFTPOS, BPAY, American Express, Afterpay, and Zip Pay transactions.
* Monitor and promptly resolve unidentified or suspense payments to ensure timely clearance and reconciliation.
* Reconcile weighbridge transactions and provide support for finance system upgrades to maintain operational efficiency.
* Prepare daily suspense clearing and reconciliation reports to inform business decisions.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
* Maintain strict adherence to financial controls and audit requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
