Are you motivated and passionate Consulting Suite Administration Officer looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity? Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our consulting suites team (Mon – Fri until 5:30pm approx. 30 hours per week). This is a great role for experienced and patient care-focused individuals.

Your Responsibilities
* Greet patients
* Manage a busy consulting suite reception desk
* Handle enquiries with a friendly and professional manner
* Answer and redirect calls
* Organise appointments, reschedule, and send reminder SMS confirming bookings
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
* Manage collection of consultation fees via electronic payment
* Theatre bookings
* Liaise with staff from different departments, other GP clinics, and hospitals
* Accurate computer data entry

With 60 inpatients Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation beds, a rehabilitation gym and 3 operating theatres located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula our facility averages 760 admissions per month. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programmes on the Brisbane North‐side.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Must Have
* Hospital or Clinical Consulting suite experience essential (minimum 12 months)
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Demonstrated computer skills – MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
* Experience with Sessional Suite software i.e. Clinic 2 Cloud & Genie software experience
* Must have availability to work Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
*Candidates without prior consulting suites experience need not apply*
