We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Toyota, Volkswagen & MG workshop at Bathurst.

About the opportunity
This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
* Manage daily tasks, productivity and efficiency for a team of technicians
* Prioritise Repair Orders in the workshop to ensure on time completion
* Assist with Technical problem solving
* Suggest additional work that is needed to the Service Adviser Team so the customer can be notified
* Make certain that work repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures and seek clarification if necessary
* Maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment; follow safety practices; notify management if tools need replacement or new tools required
* Assist in expediting of parts orders and notify service advisor if delays are expected or if a part needs to be ordered
* Give special attention to repeat repairs, so the problem is correct this time and future comebacks are avoided
* Compliance with the procedures and policies
About you
Success in this role requires a customer-led mindset, highly developed communication skills, and the confidence to make decisions and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate:
* Previous workshop controller experience preferred not essential
* Current driver's licence
* Air-Conditioning & ASCIS & AUVIS Licence preferred however not essential
* Ability to follow work, health and safety policies and procedures
* Demonstrate care and attention to detail
* Clear, professional communicator who approaches challenges with positivity
* Ability to work well within large teams and follow processes and instructions
