We are partnering with a privately owned industrial property Investment Manager to appoint a General Manager to lead their Queensland operations. This senior leadership role spans leasing, asset management, and capital transactions, offering broad portfolio responsibility and strategic influence.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Founders, the General Manager will oversee the full portfolio of industrial assets in Queensland. You will drive leasing performance, asset optimisation, and investment outcomes, while managing outsourced operational management team and engaging with tenants, partners and investors.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead leasing strategy, negotiations and tenant relationship management
Oversee asset management, including performance, compliance, and operational efficiency
Support capital transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, and deal execution
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximise portfolio performance and value
Manage a small team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and results
Maintain strong governance, reporting, and risk management standards
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
Extensive experience in industrial property leasing, asset / property management, and capital transactions
Proven ability to drive portfolio performance and execute investment decisions
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Tertiary qualifications in property, business, or related discipline (preferred)
