Aircraft Maintenance Lead
The Aircraft Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance control function to deliver operational excellence to the airline. This involves leading a team by communicating business requirements and providing guidance to ensure the delivery of a safe, compliant, on-time, defect-free, and customer-centric operation.
* Active monitoring of aircraft defect alerts and overseeing MRO organisations and line stations for proper troubleshooting and rectification of defects to minimize customer impact and loss of aircraft availability due to technical delay and AOG events.
* Proactively identifying technical and maintenance risks to the planned operation and collaborating with the airline Integrated Operations Centre and the joint airline/MRO Centre of Excellence to drive solutions.
* Collaborating with internal departments, OEMs, and MROs for efficient and effective solutions to technical defects affecting the flying schedule.
* Managing AOG recovery events worldwide through tracking milestones and ensuring timely recovery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Leading the maintenance control team by communicating business requirements.
* Providing mentoring support and guidance to the team.
* Tracking performance against business outcomes.
**Requirements:**
* 10 years experience as LAE (B1 or B2) with CAAS, CAD, EASA License and 3 years as Maintenance Controller.
* Relevant working experience (not inclusive of training, OJT, and internship).
* Experience handling commercial aircrafts. Those with wide body experience are highly preferred.
* Able to start work immediately or 1 month notice max.
