Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide strategic direction to supervisors and trades personnel to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance practices.
* Manage budgets, resources, and contractor performance to achieve operational excellence.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
* Promote a proactive asset management culture and ensure compliance with statutory and site standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade qualification in mechanical or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 10 years' industry experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
* Expertise in maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost control.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
* High level problem solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Experience in continuous improvement and change management.
* Competency in Pronto and MS Office tools; familiarity with budgeting systems is desirable.
* A commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
