The team is responsible for providing a wide range of digital services to support the business and operating environment of the department.
These roles represent an exciting opportunity for Business Analysts to join one of our multidisciplinary teams.
Working as part of an agile delivery team, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of requirements gathering activities.
You will conduct investigations, undertake specialist or technical research and analysis activities, or provide professional advice within an area of specialization based on systems knowledge, policy, and legislation.
Analyse, facilitate, model, and organise information in order to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs;Producing analysis and design documentation such as high level and detailed requirements, business process maps, user stories and user interface specifications;Map current and future state business processes;Lead consultation with internal and external stakeholders;Provide assistance in the planning and management of user acceptance activities;Support projects undertaken in line with DTA processes and the Departments digital delivery model.Please note, a merit pool may be created for this role.

Demonstrated experience in conducting business and technical analysis on complex digital projects and products and producing high quality BA artefacts (40%)Experience leading consultation with business and technical stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements (20%)A proven track record in working in an Agile software development environment, including developing users stories, working in a multidisciplinary team and supporting sprint activities (20%)Experience working with complex IT systems, including an understanding of system interoperability, database structures and data flows between systems (20%)Preferred Skills:
