We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the management of our terminal facility and infrastructure.
This includes day-to-day maintenance and repair work, as well as project work for capital upgrades and new purchases. The incumbent will work closely with contractors to carry out these works.
We require someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good time management, and strong computer skills. Competence in using our computer maintenance management system is essential, and experience with MAXIMO is advantageous.
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 7 years' experience in maintenance and project works;
* A trade certificate as an electrician or similar qualification;
* Knowledge of air conditioning maintenance desirable;
* Experience working with OH&S policies and procedures within a heavy engineering environment;
* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability;
* Experience in managing contractors;
* Competent computer skills and experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
In addition, you must be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card.
