Two opportunities exist for Medical Secretary positions to join the expert team at BallaratOSM. BallaratOSM is the centre of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine excellence for Ballarat and the Victorian Western district. We are located in an historic 1880's building in the heart of the Ballarat Medical precinct, in Lake Wendouree.
At BallaratOSM you will work directly with a specific specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon and within a team of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Practice Nurses, and other allied health professionals and support staff.
Our team manages a large range of sporting and orthopaedic injuries. We offer acute injury management, preventative medicine, and pre‐operative and post‐operative surgical management.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will work closely with a specific Orthopaedic surgeon and other practitioners as required to ensure the patient experience is respectful, compassionate, and highly professional. Experience as a Medical Secretary and/or other healthcare role with medical terminology knowledge is desirable. Experience using Genie practice software or other specialist medical practice software is desirable.
Working hours per fortnight (Monday-Friday)
4x 10hr shifts 0830hrs-1900hrs
5x 8hrs shifts 0830hrs-1700hrs
Some overtime will be required
