Kerribana Primary School:
Kerribana Primary School is a new primary school in Leneva.
Kerribana Primary School was chosen as this new school's name following community and Traditional Owner group consultation. Kerribana (pronounced kerri-puh-nuh) is a local language place name for the site of the new school.
Kerribana Primary School will open for day one of Term 1 in 2026. The school will have places for up to 525 students from Prep to Year 6, including 50 students with disabilities.
Kerribana Primary School will be a
supported inclusion school
. Supported inclusion schools are local government schools with some extra accessibility features. These features help them teach and support more students with a disability.
Once open, our modern school will feature unique Learning Neighbourhoods, a Maker Space, Art Facilities, a Performing Arts space, a STEAM Space including Drone area, multiple outdoor courts, a full-size gymnasium with basketball court, and an on-site Kindergarten. Learning will take place in two double-storey Pavilions with exciting design features, break out spaces, teacher hubs, Indigenous design elements and inclusive areas.

This full-time on-site role at Kerribana Primary School in Leneva, VIC, for a passionate teacher in the area/s of Art and Student Well-Being. This is a unique opportunity to join our Establishment Team for the first year of operation ar Kerribana Primary School.
Qualifications
* Strong Lesson Planning and Teaching skills for creating and delivering structured and engaging educational content.
* Experience in Education and Training, with a focus on fostering academic and personal growth in students.
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
* The ability to cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment.
* Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
* Commitment to professional development and staying updated on educational best practices and standards.
