About the role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at The Comiskey Group at The Doonan Hotel. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hospitality establishment. This full-time position will see you take on a variety of managerial responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills within the industry.
What you'll be doing
* Overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, including staff management, customer service, and financial processes
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Coordinating with various departments to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness
* Assisting with the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives to drive business growth
* Contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans to improve the overall customer experience
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the business
What we're looking for
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality or tourism industry
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and make timely decisions
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and customers
* Proficient in using various hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
* A thorough understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
