Aboriginal Community Developers play a key role in advancing economic development for Aboriginal people and communities. This role is part of our Engagement Team, responsible for providing expert guidance on funding opportunities and promoting initiatives that support long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver targeted guidance to support community-led economic participation and self-determination initiatives
* Promote awareness of our programs through community engagement events and social media platforms
* Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to deliver meaningful, culturally safe outcomes
Requirements
* Proven experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations
* Strong understanding of cultural protocols and engagement best practices
* Ability to travel frequently to regional and remote locations
* Skilled communication with sound judgement and respect for diverse cultures
