Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts/Finance Department; identify and resolve operational issues.
* Coordinate and manage audits, GST filings, and compliance with local requirements to maintain regulatory adherence
* Prepare concise financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to headquarters for informed decision-making
* Review and verify documentation for payments to vendors/suppliers; perform ad-hoc audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts.
* Review the integrity and accuracy of monthly accounts.
* Monitor and manage company cash flow.
* Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management, including:
* Balance Sheet
* Accounts Receivable Ageing
* Accounts Payable Ageing
* Bank Balances
* Perform management accounting tasks, including budget monitoring, preparing projected financial statements, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
* Liaise with external authorities, bankers, auditors and regulatory bodies on financial matters.
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA/CPA qualification
* Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management roles
* Strong knowledge of Australia Tax and Audit laws, GST regulations
* Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP
* Ability to work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
