About The Opportunity
:
We are currently recruiting a Construction Supervisor, whose responsibilities will be to coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmed and schedules.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the construction documents, safety and environmental regulations.
* Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
* Experience with modular buildings will be favourable considered, noting a general well rounded construction knowledge is a must.
* Preparing short term programs to achieve construction goals while monitoring progress against contract programs.
* Managing site material/plant deliveries and storage and general yard housekeeping.
* Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
* Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination.
Minimum Requirements for the Role are the following:
* Manage and monitor subcontract resources to deliver project timelines
* Managed logistics and applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with Scope of Works
* Demonstrated experience, to include as a minimum:
* Forecasting labour and materials, capable of developing and maintaining a 3-day, 1 week, 3 weeks look ahead
* Experience in modular buildings – beneficial not essential
* Building & Construction Background
* Be conscious of cost and time of allocated resources
* Accountability
* Negotiation and influencing
* Ability to coordinate and effectively manage multiple trades in tight workspaces
* Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
