Estimator - Joinery
* Up to $90,000 + Bonus + Super depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
* Cost Estimation - Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery furniture and workstation projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs
* Blueprint Analysis - Analyse blueprints, plans and other documentation to prepare time, costs, materials and labour estimates
* Consultation - Consult with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
* Cost Effectiveness assessments - Assess the cost effectiveness of products, projects, tracking actual cost relative to bids as the project develops
* Collaboration - Work closely with architects, builders, suppliers, procurement, other estimators and sales teams
* Documentation - Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractor, and use software to calculate estimates and evaluate a projects financial feasibility
The Ideal Candidate – will have the following skills although does not necessarily have to come from a traditional career path of an Estimator. You may be a Joiner or Cabinet Maker with extensive pricing experience looking for an opportunity to come off the tools and into an office function.
* Ability to read, interpret, and perform take-offs from architectural and joinery drawings to accurately quantify materials and labour
* Strong construction knowledge, including joinery techniques, woodworking processes, industry standards, and building regulations
* Prior experience as an Estimator, Drafts person, Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Admin estimating for bespoke items, fitted furniture, and complex joinery components produced in workshops
* Experience with Excel and Estimating tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* High attention to detail and advanced analytical skills for calculating costs, assessing project risks, and identifying potential issues
