Adiona uses AI and cloud mathematics to offset a significant portion of these problems by optimizing mobile fleets in innovative ways. With investors such as BMW, Telstra, and the Australian Government, and customers such as Coca-Cola, Home Delivery Services, and Parcelpoint, our technology has automated the optimal delivery of millions of products and kept megatonnes of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. But we can do so much more. This role will help us continue to improve our algorithms and assist in customisations and proofs of concept for customers. It's a practical, hands-on role that will combine R&D, software development, and integration with cloud services. - Computer science or software engineering BS degree or higher - Demonstrated experience with common heuristic and exact optimization algorithms like linear, integer, nonlinear, or stochastic programming, genetic or evolutionary algorithms, tabu search, or others. - Understanding of logistics-specific optimization challenges such as TSP and VRP. - Experience with relevant tools and languages such as python (preferred), java (preferred), C++, matlab, R, etc. - Bonus: Knowledge of AI &ML such as SVM, Decision tree, knn, kmeans) - Bonus: Data and text analysis using Python (e.g. Pandas, scikit-learn, numpy) Candidate should have a keen eye for detail and aspire for high quality engineering and coding practices.
