We are seeking a Youth Mental Health Clinician (OT, SW Speech Path, RPN), on a Full-Time 1.0 permanent basis.

No two days will be the same as you work within an established, friendly and supportive team environment, working closely together to care for clients (patients) along with providing opportunities for staff development and growth in areas that staff are passionate about. Taking a team focus on delivery of care, our primary focus is on a patient's recovery journey and optimising their health and wellbeing. We have a strong education focus and encourage staff to further develop their skills, along with being a part of a friendly and social environment to work in. We are a tight knit team who are collaborative and support one another and value all of our staff. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your Clinical and Leadership skills. This role will suit innovative candidates who strive to learn and embrace emerging practice directions. This position is predominantly based in Dandenong.

About You

Seeking to grow our dedicated and knowledgeable team, we are looking for you to bring your demonstrated skills and experience in case management and assessment, working with youth and families within a multidisciplinary team. You are adaptable to a changing environment as we work together to deliver first class service. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you have a positive work attitude, strong communication skills and a strong people-person focus allowing you to engage with our clients (patients) and their families. About the Young Persons Mental Health Service

Young Persons Mental Health Services (YPMHS) provides mental health assessment and treatment for young people (aged 18-25 years) and their families. We work with the 18-25 age group in the Southern Region, providing a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. We work with families to address a number of complex issues they may be experiencing, including parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis. We also work collaboratively with families, educational settings and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework. We now have ongoing (permanent), full-time opportunity available to work as a youth mental health clinician in our thriving, engaged Youth Community Mental Health Team, providing mental health assessment, formulation and treatment to complex and acute young people in the South East. With exposure to a multidisciplinary team led by consultant psychiatrists, we provide assessment and treatment for youth and their families in the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong, and the Shire of Cardinia.
