Job Title: Automotive Parts Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will make a significant impact in the following ways:

1. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
2. Provide accurate parts interpretation and supply required parts to meet customer requirements.
3. Process and receive orders and quotes in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
4. Advise customers on part suitability and provide guidance on the best solution for their needs.
5. Perform customer-facing tasks, including receiving parts calls, greeting customers, processing paperwork, and handling transactions.
6. Organize and manage daily freight deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient logistics.
7. Collaborate closely with office and service departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
8. Maintain accountability for all parts counted in and out of the branch, adhering to inventory control methodologies.

Responsibilities:

* Fulfill full-time contract until September 2026.
* Work Monday through Friday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm).
* Competitive hourly rate applies.
* Overtime is required as needed, with penalty rates paid for work above 38 hours.
* All safety equipment/PPE are provided.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

* Experience as an automotive parts specialist in an automotive or similar industry.
* Excellent customer service and effective communication skills.
* Engine knowledge is advantageous.
* The ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
* A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and troubleshoot complex tasks.
* A forklift ticket would be highly desirable.
* A valid car driver's license is required.

* Customer support - Demonstrates how proactive customer support interactions are required at each phase of the order life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction; describes how customer support and the order life cycle are interconnected to ensure an overall positive customer experience.
* Order life cycle systems knowledge - Demonstrates the steps within each system screen to process customer orders, order modifications, and respond to customer queries to ensure accurate and timely order processing and query resolution.
* Order processing - Demonstrates the steps necessary to manage the processing of customer orders through order receipt, exception identification, and resolution to ensure orders are fulfilled to customer requirements.
