Toowoomba Care Support Services provides services for people living with disability in Toowoomba and surrounds. Our services are designed to cater diverse range of people living with mental health issues, various physical disabilities, and community care. We transform communities by connecting people with one another, strengthening bonds, and creating endless opportunities. We work with all individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their physical, psychological, or social well-being. This can include but is not limited to assistance in activities of daily living, social support, community access, and maintaining employment. Your Role
As our Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our staff, participants, and operations. Your expertise in healthcare and NDIS processes will ensure accurate and timely administrative support, allowing our team to focus on delivering exceptional care.
Qualifications & experience
* Medical or nursing background (essential)
* Good knowledge of NDIS
* Current blue and yellow card / NDIS worker screening check or willing to obtain
* Have an Australian driver licence
* Right to work within Australia
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Tasks & responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across the organisation, including data entry, filing, and document management.
* Maintain participant records accurately in line with NDIS requirements.
* Assist with rostering and on-call duties (on-call allowance provided)
* Oversee care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are up to date and compliant.
* Train new staff in organisational procedures, including medication administration protocols.
