Mechanical Fitter - Shutdown Work (FIFO)
Technical Lubrication Services (TLS) is looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team for casual shutdown work in the Pilbara region.
Overview
Location: Perth (FIFO Contracts in the Pilbara). Position: Casual Contract for Mechanical Fitter.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform lubrication tasks on fixed plant equipment, such as filter and oil changeouts, grease sampling, and hose replacements.
- Assemble and crimp hose assemblies as required.
- Conduct routine inspections, repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter - with experience across lubrication tasks.
- Familiarity with fixed plant equipment in the mining or heavy industry sectors (minimum 12 months).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Site Inductions (FMG, BHP, RIO) – preferred but not mandatory.
- Current Australian Manual Driver’s License.
- Valid Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmosphere, and First Attack Fire Fighting certifications (within two years).
- Be a team player, with a proactive attitude.
Other Requirements
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including lab drug and alcohol testing, as part of the recruitment process.
