Primary objective
Provide specialist advice and strategic analysis of systems, develop and monitor success metrics, identify and implement
business efficiencies, and deliver projects across the Transport Safety and Services division.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide high level analysis and advice to management on business transformation strategies and perform as the business

continuous improvement champion.
2. Manage multiple projects, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and lead business improvement activities to resolve

customer pain points and deliver a superior customer experience.
3. Explore issues and risks systematically through comprehensive research and information gathering, critical analysis of

existing processes and systems, evaluate gaps and determine root causes, and implement/recommend short and long
term improvement strategies.

4. Establish measurable standards, apply effective change management approaches, and facilitate workshops including
application of customer journey mapping, root cause analysis, and process re-engineering techniques.

Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to critically analyse data and processes to develop practical, customer focused continuous

improvement initiatives with high level sensitivity and confidentiality.
2. Demonstrated experience in delivering effective change management with well-developed knowledge of consultation,

negotiation, and stakeholder engagement approaches, and demonstrated ability to positively influence stakeholder
relationships to achieve desired business outcomes.

3. Demonstrated experience in business performance analysis, re-engineering of processes, customer journey mapping, and
customer satisfaction measurement techniques.

4. High level organisational and planning skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing tasks
with a demonstrated knowledge of quality and continuous improvement strategies, tools, and processes.

5. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and interact effectively
with people from diverse backgrounds.

6. Proven experience with maintaining up to date knowledge of service delivery trends, anticipating risks, and formulating
appropriate mitigations.

Desirable
1. Operational experience in a public sector organisation, preferably within a regulatory context.
2. Tertiary qualification in business, project management, or another relevant accreditation.
