Job Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate infrastructure development programs.
* Manage operations and staff within the Works Department.
* Oversee asset management planning and plant/equipment maintenance.
* Prepare and manage project budgets.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and safety requirements.
* Manage contracts and tenders for infrastructure projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Applicable tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a related field, or over 5 years' experience in construction and maintenance.
* Proven leadership and supervisory experience (minimum 3 years).
* Experience in asset management planning and road construction.
* Strong knowledge of traffic management, contract management, and Work Health and Safety legislation.
* Financial management and budget preparation experience.
Desirable Qualifications
Local government experience is highly desirable for this role.](
