Overview
Adult Speech Pathologist – Australia Wide. We are looking for an early career speech pathologist with at least 2 years of clinical experience, based anywhere in Australia, with a desire to provide affirming and transformative speech therapy to adults. This is a work-from-home prospect with a solely adult caseload. The role includes clinical supervision and mentoring, with opportunities to extend skills in sessions ranging from social communication strategies, pronunciation clarity, language diversity, to stuttering therapy. Sessions are delivered via telehealth, and the clinic has resources to support Australia-wide service delivery with minimal session prep.
Our focus is on pronunciation advocacy, fluency, and clarity support for professionals. This position offers the chance to work alongside a diverse team and caseload, with a strong interest in advocacy for pronunciation diversity, phonetics and languages.

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based speech pathology services for adults via telehealth.
- Provide assessments and therapy for pronunciation clarity, social communication strategies, language diversity, and stuttering.
- Engage in ongoing clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to support clients across Australia.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and ensure quality client care.
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology. Clinicians who are nearing graduation are welcome to apply.
- Membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Eligibility to register as a provider with Medicare and Private Health Funds.
- A current Working with Children check.
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- A current National Police Clearance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Conversant in the International Phonetic Alphabet; interest and knowledge of speech acoustics advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team; highly motivated and organized.
- Strong work ethic and high ethical standards, with an agile mindset and openness to new learning, especially with technology and IT systems.
- Commitment to providing evidence-based practice to Speechaus Clinic clients.
