Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Hand supports the day-to-day operation of the Clover Hill kitchen and supports the Head Chef with all kitchen duties at the Clover Hill Cellar Door.
Maintain a hygienic and orderly kitchen environment, including cleaning of all kitchen surfaces and equipment in compliance with government and company standards.
Assist the Head Chef with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, washing fruit, defrosting meat, and preparing sauces and marinades.
Assist with any other tasks as required, such as general cleaning of the cellar door building and additional accommodation properties on site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to communicate with all company personnel.
High attention to detail and consistent quality standards.
Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Food Safety awareness.
Readiness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
Valid driver's licence.
Police Check certificate.
Must be available to work weekends.
Experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
