The Role
The Capital Program Management Office (CPMO) supports the management, delivery and governance of Melbourne Water’s significant infrastructure project investment program. This role in the CPMO is focussed on our Sewerage services, which contribute to greater Melbourne’s liveability. This role supports our services by:
* Supporting the development of robust business case practices. You’ll do this by learning about the Investment Management Standard (IMS) and Investment Logic Mapping (ILM).
* Driving prudent and efficient capital project development and delivery through monthly reporting.
* Communicating insights and aligning teams to our common organisational and infrastructure program objectives.
* Driving improved capture of data and information to support insights based decision making.
* Facilitating creation of long term infrastructure investment plans.
Your Skills and Experience
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and effectively influence others.
* Well-developed communication skills including experience in leading workshops.
* Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to produce reports (Business Intelligence (BI) reporting using tools such as Power BI is highly desirable) with a focus on insights over information.
* Experience in implementing change/continuous improvement initiatives.
* Experience with infrastructure program and project development and management is desirable.
