The opportunity
As a Consultant in our Private Tax team, you'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse and engaging client base, providing accounting, tax and advisory services to privately owned businesses and individuals across a wide range of industries.
Our clients span the full business life cycle, from fast‐paced entrepreneurial start‐ups and high‐growth businesses, through to well‐established private enterprises, high‐net‐worth individuals, and recognisable household names. This exposure gives you the chance to build strong technical foundations while gaining valuable insight into how businesses evolve, grow and succeed.
You'll work closely with experienced managers and partners, learning directly from those who advise business owners and families at critical points in their journey. It's an ideal environment to develop your technical skills, commercial acumen and client relationships, while building a career in private tax that goes beyond routine compliance.
This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Skills and attributes for success
* You will provide tax advice to privately owned corporate groups, high net‐worth families, trusts, and other privately owned entities.
* You will provide financial reporting and tax compliance services for our clients.
* Advise clients on their key business issues using a wide range of technology in real time.
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
* Contribute to strategic planning for, and the implementation of, family governance frameworks and structures, with particular focus on privately owned business.
* Work across multiple projects and clients, including entrepreneurial start-ups, established private businesses and high‐net‐worth individuals and families.
