Job Title: Store Operations Manager
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Store Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that our store runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Operations Oversight: Supervise daily store operations, including retail space preparation, stock rotation, and customer service enquiries
* Store Management: Opening and closing the store, balancing cash registers, and maintaining cleanliness
* Marketing and Merchandising: Assist in marketing goods for sale, merchandising stock, and developing strategies to increase sales figures
* Financial Management: Manage financial aspects, including cash reconciliation and accountability
* Safety and Efficiency: Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for customers and staff
Requirements:
* Mentoring Experience: 1 year experience in mentoring or training staff or ability to demonstrate capability
* Retail and Customer Service Experience: 5 years of experience in retail and/or customer service is desirable
* Availability: Ability to work over Saturday trading hours and cover Annual Leave periods
* Physical Capability: Physical capability for manual and safe handling practices
* People Management Skills: Demonstrated people management skills, valid Driver's License, and First Aid Certificate
