Operating within
Safety & Wellbeing
, the Return-to-Work Consultant works closely with injured staff, supervisors, and key internal and external stakeholders to support timely, safe, and sustainable injury management and return-to-work outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Injury Management Consultant, this role is actively involved in the management of workers compensation claims submitted across the business. The successful candidate will provide operational support and advice to staff members, supervisors, and People & Capability staff on workers' compensation, injury management, return-to-work processes, and wellbeing matters. In addition, assist in identifying injury trends and solutions to improve compliance, reduce financial risk, and enhance injury management performance across the University. Working within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, the Return-to-Work Consultant is a key point of contact for staff and supervisors, promoting a proactive and safe culture and contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of the university community.

Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
