Details: An opportunity is available to join the Finance team within the City Renewal Authority.
Reporting to the Director Finance, this role will support key financial functions during a busy period.
These functions include:
* Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
* Preparation of internal and external budgets including; costings, forecasting, analysis and reporting to help inform stakeholder decision making.
* Undertake project accounting and provide advice for the land release program, including assisting with submissions to Treasury.
* Monitor and manage financial performance, cash flow, assets, and liabilities.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Shared Services and Treasury.
* Draft and seek relevant approvals for a range of documents including briefs, Board papers and financial policies.
* Respond to ad hoc queries and provide financial advice as required.
* Other duties as directed.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
* Experience in the use of complex spreadsheets and financial management systems such as TM1 is highly desirable.
* Relevant accounting or equivalent qualifications, or significant progress towards gaining them is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 24 February 2026 for a period of up to six months.
