Your new role
An exciting opportunity is available to join their high-performing service team, and venture across Sydney & Australia weekly providing technical servicing and repairs for their unique and high powered machinery. You'll work with process engineering components such as separators, decanters, homogenisers, valves, and pumps.
* Based out of Sydney, you'll be looking after a portfolio of local clients for both planned and unplanned service maintenance and troubleshoot specialised equipment.
* Engage in preventative maintenance visits, address breakdowns, and prepare job-related reports.
* There will be a sales component to the role so you will need to be confident speaking to customers and up selling products.
* Provide on-call support outside regular hours and perform site troubleshooting with remote assistance.
* Focus on continuous improvement by offering feedback, solutions, and initiatives to key stakeholders.
* Maintain and enhance customer relationships, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
* Mechanical Engineering Trade Qualification (e.g. Fitter & Turner)
* 3+ years of mechanical experience, ideally in food production with expertise in gears, pumps, and rotational equipment
* Skilled in interpreting service and parts manuals/drawings
* Commitment to high safety standards, outstanding customer service, and adaptability
* A current driver's license

Travel Information
Work week starts on Monday, when you'll be assigned to a regional job across Sydney or sent interstate to different Clients across Australia. A service trip usually lasts 1 - 2 days and all accommodation, flights, and food will be provided. This client ensures you'll be back home to enjoy your weekend and recharge for the next week
